Legal Disclaimer

Charles A. Weimer is a commissioned Notary Public in the State of Texas and a certified Notary Signing Agent. He is not a licensed attorney in the State of Texas or anywhere in the United States or its territories.

Central Dallas Notary does not provide legal advice, legal counsel, or legal representation of any kind, under any circumstances. All notarial acts are performed in a ministerial capacity only, in strict accordance with applicable Texas statutes and federal regulations.

For all legal inquiries, questions regarding the legal effect of documents, or matters requiring legal advice, clients are strongly advised to seek guidance from a licensed attorney. Central Dallas Notary does not provide attorney recommendations.

Notarial services are subject to the verification of the signer's identity and willingness. Charles Weimer reserves the right to refuse any notarization where there is reason to believe the act would be improper, unlawful, or where the signer's identity cannot be confirmed.

Scope of Services

Wet-ink (traditional) notarizations are limited in jurisdiction to the State of Texas. Remote Online Notarization (RON) services are available to clients anywhere within the United States and its territories.

Certain document types — including Durable Powers of Attorney, Irrevocable Trusts, Last Will and Testaments, Conservatorships, and I-9 Verification Documents — may require in-person notarization regardless of whether a remote appointment is requested. Clients submitting these document types will be contacted to confirm the time and place for an in-person notarization.

All documents involving persons under the age of 18 require proof of guardianship (such as a birth certificate or court order) before notarization may proceed.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Central Dallas Notary treats all client information and document contents with the utmost confidentiality. Information shared in connection with a notarization is used solely for the purpose of completing the requested notarial act and is not disclosed to third parties except as required by law.

Remote Online Notarization sessions are recorded as required by Texas law. These recordings are stored securely and retained for the period required by applicable regulations.
